A room needs useful corners
Small spaces become meaningful when they make a habit possible.
A room does not need to be large to support a life. It needs useful corners: a chair placed where the afternoon light lands, a clear patch of table, a shelf that holds only what wants to be reached for.
The same is true of a day. A small interval, deliberately protected, can hold more than an entire unstructured afternoon.
The work is not always to find more space. Sometimes it is to give an existing corner a purpose.
